Echo Bluff State Park Features “Eggs-cellent” Easter Celebration

April 10, 2024

Celebrating “Easter in the Park” at Echo Bluff State Park is a beloved tradition, and warm springtime weather marked this year’s holiday weekend festivities. The Betty Lea Lodge, the centerpiece of the Park located in Eminence, Missouri, was the perfect place to combine Easter fun with the natural wonders of nearby Sinking Creek and the Park’s namesake bluff.

This popular event drew many lodge guests, the local community, and Park staff and their families, who came out to enjoy the “eggs-cellent” activities. There was something for everyone: Kids (and kids at heart!) met and took photos with the Easter Bunny, searched for golden eggs in the famous egg hunt, and learned about baby animal species in an interpretative presentation provided by Missouri State Parks. Inside the lodge, the Creekside Grill offered a weekend Easter brunch.

One of Missouri’s newest State Parks, Echo Bluff draws visitors from across the state and region for camping, hiking, fishing, floating, and relaxing. Visitors can choose from rooms and suites in the Betty Lea Lodge, modern cabins, and RV and tent camping. Visitor amenities include a full-service restaurant, gift shop, bicycle rentals, group event services, year-round activities, and entertainment, including the Park’s free summer concert series at the amphitheater.
