The Lincoln Cafe Is Now Open

OCTOBER 16, 2023

Visitors to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield, Illinois, will now have the opportunity to grab a convenient bite to eat on-site.

ExplorUS has opened the Lincoln Café, a quick-service restaurant, open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., inside the museum building. Patrons can choose from a menu of grab-and-go breakfast and lunch items, including muffins, sandwiches, soups, salads, pizza, and ice cream. Box lunches will also be available for visiting schoolchildren and other large groups. Museum admission is not required to eat at the café.

ExplorUS also manages the museum gift shop, which features a wide variety of gifts, books, and souvenirs honoring the nation’s 16th president.

“Opening the café was a natural progression after our success managing the gift shop,” said ExplorUS CEO Frank Pikus. “We are pleased to offer visitors a variety of delicious food, and we are grateful to the State of Illinois for awarding us this opportunity.”

ExplorUS has a 28-year history of providing an array of hospitality services, including food and beverage, retail, and lodging.
