Olympic National Park has long captivated travelers with the awe-inspiring natural beauty of its pristine lakes, ancient forests, and glacier-capped peaks. ExplorUS is honored to partner with the National Park Service as the new operator of several iconic guest destinations throughout this Park on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula.
ExplorUS will oversee operations at Lake Crescent Lodge, Log Cabin Resort, the Fairholme Store, and Hurricane Ridge. In the coming months, our teams will focus on elevating the guest experience through enhanced hospitality, operational improvements, and thoughtfully integrated modern amenities that respect the Park’s natural character.
“Olympic National Park is one of the most beautiful and peaceful parks I have ever visited,” said ExplorUS Chief Executive Officer Frank Pikus. “It is both a privilege and an honor to work alongside the National Park Service to create exceptional and memorable experiences for the park’s diverse visitors.”
In addition to lodging, restaurant, and retail space improvements, ExplorUS will also bring deep expertise in preserving and operating the historic properties. This includes stewardship of the renowned Lake Crescent Lodge, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Maintaining the character, integrity, and legacy of these treasured structures will be a key priority alongside delivering modern guest comforts and efficient operations.
Lake Crescent Lodge and its restaurant, Singer’s Table, open for the season on April 17. Log Cabin Resort and its restaurant, Shoreline Kitchen, along with the Fairholme Store, will open May 15.
